Dan Leineweber, Founder

Growing up in the Chicago metropolitan area, Dan was immersed in the architectural heritage of Sullivan, Burnham, Wright, and Mies van der Rohe. He continued to engage his interest in the construction industry by working on jobsites with the family-owned and operated real estate development company, which specializes in the design and buildout of live/work lofts in former commercial buildings.  After moving to the Bay Area, Dan was able join the team of prominent builder Van Acker Construction Associates, Inc. as a Site Supervisor. There he had the opportunity to work on a number of custom residential estate projects with some of the industry's most experienced designers.  He moved on to work as a project manager with Cardea Building Co., which allowed him to work on a range of projects and further develop his network in the design and construction community.  Dan has ten years of experience working on high-end residential projects throughout the Bay Area. His diverse construction background has allowed him to develop an understanding of design intent at all project phases and communicate process effectively with all stakeholders.  In this way, he has consistently produced superior product within budget parameters. Possessing a keen understanding of sustainable and new design concepts, Dan takes pride in continuously evolving his knowledgebase and effectively integrating new techniques into projects.

Outside of his work in the design and construction industry, Dan pursues many interests. He has explored and traveled in South America extensively and is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying long range backpacking, mountain climbing, camping and bike riding. As a connoisseur of all things related to food and a trained chef, he spends a lot of time creating in the kitchen while entertaining friends and family.
